1. What are the regulations concerning the audition video?
• The audition video must be a minimum two minutes but may not exceed three minutes in length. A maximum of 30 seconds will be allotted for garba in the video.
• All team members must be present and dancing throughout the entire video as to provide equal judging criteria between every team participating.
• Props are not permitted in the audition video nor are stunts.

2. What accommodations are provided during the weekend of Dandia Dhamaka?
• Teams will be once again be staying at The Kensington Court, Ann Arbor. Due to logistical purposes teams are required to stay at the official Dandia Dhamaka hotel.
• Transportation between all venues will be provided as well as arrangements to and from the airport.
• Meals will also be provided the night before as well as the entire day of the competition.

3. What is the stage like at Michigan Theater?
• The stage at Michigan Theater is 21 ft deep and 30 ft wide.
• There is a screen for the use of projected backdrops if desired; the white screen however will be present throughout the performance even if there is no backdrop used.
• The stage will be marked at the center, the front center, as well as the front line. Any formations exceeding the front line will not be shown by the lights.

4. What is the break-down of minutes within a performance?
• The introduction video must be a maximum of 1 minute and 30 seconds.
• An entire dance may not surpass a total of 7 minutes. Six of these seven minutes must be all raas.
• There is a total of 1 minute given for any segments of the dance not containing raas. This one minute may be used towards the intro and outro in whichever sections wanted. Please be advised that though garba is not prohibited altogether, it will deduct from this one minute of no-raas.
• Stunts are not counted towards the 1 minute of no-raas.

5) Will the teams get to rehearse more than once on the day of the show?
• Due to the many competing teams, it may be difficult to be able to have enough time for each team to rehearse on the stage more than once. It will be dependent on the schedule for that day.

6) Are the teams and/or team members allowed to make their own living arrangements during the weekend of the show?
• Due to logistics, teams and/or team members are not allowed to stay anywhere else except the designated hotel provided by dD, the Kensington Hotel.

7) Where can teams find more information concerning the rules and regulations for the show, stage and prop information?
• The registration packet will have most of your questions answered, as well as the newsletter. If there are any unclear answers or questions unanswered, then contacting dD board through email would be the best way to get your answers.
